Into the Wild — Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya

November 28 – December 4, 2027

Into the Wild

Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya

seven days in one of the most extraordinary places on earth.

journey with us ↓

you've been the one holding it together for so long, you don't even remember what it feels like to put it down.

because somewhere along the way,
letting go started to feel like losing.

so you plan.
you prepare.
you stay one step ahead of everything that might catch you off guard.

and it works.
until it doesn't.

until you're exhausted by your own competence and quietly starving for something you can't organize your way into.

kenya doesn't care about your plans.

the lion moves when she wants to move.
the sun sets and still rises.
the land is proof that the most extraordinary things on earth are not controlled by anyone.

something about being inside of this land
not watching it through a screen —
cracks something open.

the need to manage.
to anticipate.
to stay ready.
it just... loosens.
maybe for the first time in years.

because this isn't the matrix.
there is no inbox.
no algorithm.
no performance of a life that looks good from the outside.

there is just 90,000 acres of open savannah and you,
standing in the middle of it,
realizing your nervous system has been waiting your whole life to feel this.

present.
free.
awake.

this is what it feels like
to be alive outside of it all.

and once you feel it — really feel it —
you can't unfeel it.

how do we call her home?

step into your body, fully

step into your body, fully

through yoga, somatic practice, and movement
that wakes up what went quiet.

your body knows how to feel alive —
it just needs permission and space

let the land be your mirror

let the land be your mirror

sunrise safari drives through open plains.
golden hour with lion trackers who've walked
this land their whole lives.

wildlife that doesn't perform or pretend —
it just exists, fully, without apology.

something about watching that
makes you want to do the same.

Baskets and weavers

be part of something that matters

a visit to the northern white rhino sanctuary —
the only two left on earth, with conservation efforts to bring the population back.

a morning with spinners and weavers,
to give back to a special women's cooperative.

standing beside that kind of resilience
does something to you.

Rhino conservation
go underneath the surface

go underneath the surface

sound healing and reiki.
women's circles held under open sky.
ceremony that reaches the layer
the everyday world never touches.

making space for the part of you that's been waiting
to finally be seen and heard.

let yourself be found by each other

let yourself be found by each other

you will arrive not knowing anyone.
by day three, these women will know things
about you that your oldest friends don't.

that's not an accident.
that's what happens when you take
the performance away
and just let yourself be seen.

in a place this wild,
it happens faster than you'd think.

OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

wild outside. held inside.

picture 90,000 acres at the base of Mount Kenya. open plains, acacia woodlands, the big 5 roaming outside your door, and night skies that make the rest of the world feel very far away.

Ol Pejeta is one of the most extraordinary places on earth — the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, with an active program bringing the white rhino population back. food sourced locally, staff genuinely cared for, animals looked after the way they should be.

your money goes somewhere that matters here. this is conservation done right.

inside the conservancy, Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages has been recognized as one of the top 10% of hotels in the world by TripAdvisor — and you'll understand why the moment you arrive.

the knowing.

the feeling that life is supposed
to feel wild and free.

you take that home.
into the chaos, the routine,
the world that will be exactly
as you left it.

except you won't be.

women who came back different

↑ this is what we created ASHA for.

who's holding the space

Shannon Tomascak

Shannon Tomascak

somatics & movement

@soulflowwithshannon

Shannon is a women's guide and circle facilitator, working at the intersection of somatic healing and subconscious rewiring.

her path here wasn't linear — more a spiral of unraveling, questioning, and slowly remembering who she is deep down.

now she holds that same space for women to come back to themselves, with softness, strength, and soul.

Ashley Scully

Ashley Scully

healing & energetics

@ashleyscully_

Ashley is a dj, sound healer, reiki practitioner, and spiritual life coach.

she works in frequency and energy — sound baths, reiki, intuitive guidance — helping the body do what it's been holding off on: exhale.

her sessions hold both stillness and joy at once, giving women room to feel what they've been outrunning, and land somewhere steadier.

everything you need to know

Questions

here's a quick overview — we'll send you a full pre-travel guide once you're booked.

Visa

  • most travelers need a Kenyan evisa, applied for online — simple process, around $50. we'll walk you through it step by step.

Vaccines & Mosquitoes

  • if you've traveled through certain countries in the last 6 months (even with a layover), a yellow fever vaccination card may be required.
  • check with your healthcare provider or airline if you're unsure.
  • no additional vaccines are required for entry into Kenya.
  • the retreat is located at high elevation with cool, dry air — mosquitoes are not a concern and malaria is not a risk in this region.
  • as always, consult your healthcare provider for personal recommendations.

Travel Insurance

  • not required but highly recommended.
  • we suggest World Nomads or SafetyWing — both cover medical emergencies and trip interruptions.
  • cost is typically $50–100 for the duration of the trip.

Passport

  • ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

fly into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Arrive: group transport to Ol Pejeta Conservancy departs the morning of November 28th — we recommend arriving in Nairobi at least one day before.

Depart: group transport back to Nairobi is provided on December 4th.

yes. the retreat center can accommodate most dietary preferences — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. we'll ask for your dietary needs after booking.

intimate. we cap it at 10 women.

you'll find a mix — late 20s to 50s, all coming from different places in life. some are mid-heartbreak, some are pivoting careers, some are deep in motherhood, some just need a few days that are entirely their own. there's always the same thing underneath it all — a readiness to actually show up for themselves.

by day two, you'd never guess they were strangers.

not at all. most women come solo — and many say the sisterhood they found was the most unexpected gift. this space is designed to make you feel safe, welcome, and deeply connected from day one.

absolutely. this retreat blends guided experiences with spaciousness so you can rest, reflect, or connect as you need. your energy is honored every step of the way.

yes, and we recommend it.

the official retreat runs November 28 – December 4, 2027. we suggest arriving the night before (November 27) and staying in Nairobi — we'll all take transport together to the retreat on the 28th. return transport back to Nairobi on December 4 is included.

want to arrive a few days early to explore Nairobi or ease into the time difference? we can coordinate that with the group. want to stay on longer or extend your trip elsewhere? just reach out — we'll figure it out together.

yes. we want this to feel accessible and spacious.

you can secure your spot with a $1,000 deposit today. this officially reserves your place and gives you access to a flexible payment plan, with remaining payments spread out over the coming months.

on the payment page, simply choose the deposit option instead of paying in full, and we'll work with you from there.

we understand that life happens — and we also need to honor the commitment and planning that goes into creating this retreat.

the $1,000 deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your spot and covers upfront retreat costs. if you need to cancel after paying more than the deposit, any additional payments may be transferable to another woman if you find someone to take your place (with our approval).

we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. if something comes up, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
